One of Anderson Development’s highly valued project managers has scooped yet another award for his exceptional work.
Alan Clarke has been recognised by this year’s National House Building Council (NHBC) for his work on our Faversham Lakes development, a 330-home scheme located on the northern edge of this historic market town.
This year, Alan was also named a Quality Award winner by judges at the NHBC, taking him through to the next stage.
The latest winners were announced at a Pride in the Job South East awards ceremony this month where Alan was given a prestigious Seal of Excellence.
This is the second time Alan has been honoured as part of the awards, having received both the Quality Award and Seal of Excellence in 2021.
Proud
Alan said: “I am very honoured to receive this award again. It means a lot to myself and the whole team. Everyone involved in the Faversham Lakes development is proud of what has been achieved and has worked hard to make it a wonderful development for all who will call it home. To take this accolade for the work there is a great feeling.”
Operations Director at Anderson Development, Ian Cunnane, said: “A big congratulations to Alan on this fantastic win. It is thoroughly deserved. We are very proud of his work and that of the wider team. Well done!”
Ross Parmenter, who oversees Erith Quarry, has also secured recognition as a Quality Award winner and we wish him the very best of luck at next month’s award ceremony for the London region.
Driving Quality
Now in its 43rd year, a Pride in the Job award recognises site managers who demonstrate dedication, passion, commitment and leadership to produce homes of exceptional quality.
Pride in the Job is well-established and highly regarded in the house-building industry and is the most notable benchmark for exceptional site managers and winners are subject to a robust judging process. For the initial nominations sites are judged by the local NHBC building inspector and their inspection manager. The local NHBC regional director and an inspection manager then narrow these nominations down to select the Quality Award winners. At the Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards level the local regional director, an additional regional director and an external, independent judge will inspect the sites.
The awards are among the most highly regarded competition in the industry and a prestigious benchmark for exceptional site managers.
